Wanted Golden Grove Man Janiah Antione Still at Large
Police urge anyone in contact with Janiah Antione to encourage him to surrender and warn the public not to approach him.
Janiah Antione of Golden Grove remains at large as police renew their appeal for information on his whereabouts and warn against helping him evade arrest.
The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda is urging relatives, friends and associates who may be in contact with Antione to encourage him to surrender peacefully. Police have warned that harbouring, concealing or otherwise assisting a wanted person to avoid lawful arrest could amount to a serious criminal offence.
Authorities say Antione is believed to be armed. Members of the public should not approach, confront or attempt to apprehend him if they see him. Instead, they should contact police immediately.
The renewed appeal comes as efforts continue to locate Antione and have him turn himself in without further delay.
Anyone with information can contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914, Crime Stoppers at 800-TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station.
